Similar to Plan K, Medicare Supplement Plan L is a cost-sharing option. In return for lower premiums, you pay 25% of your covered medical expenses, along with the full Part B deductible, any excess charges, and costs related to foreign travel emergencies. Like Plan K, Plan L includes an annual out-of-pocket maximum. Once you reach that limit, the plan covers all remaining approved medical expenses for the rest of the year.
